Effort
Variety International’s “Gold
Heart Campaign” was launched in Great Britain in 1991,
and since then more than $100 million has been raised by Variety
through this program to help special needs children around
the globe.
This unique fund raising program centers
around the sale of a charming Gold Heart Pin, a symbol of
love and hope.
"Wear your heart on your sleeve to show
you care”, is the campaign slogan and each year the
design of the pin changes, creating a cherished and lasting
tribute to children everywhere.
The Gold Heart campaign has become Variety
Club International’s greatest fund raising endeavor
worldwide. It involves our chapters/tents in the United States,
Great Britain, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Israel, France, Australia,
New Zealand, Barbados and the Channel Islands.
