Annual International Ball
Variety of Ottawa – The Children’s Charity, will be holding its 13th Annual International Ball on Saturday, May 5th, 2012. Variety would be delighted to have you in attendance for what promises to be the most memorable evening of all events.
Mexico is our gracious host nation for this very special evening in partnership with the Mexican High Commission. Come and join Variety celebrate Mexico’s delectable food, culture and renowned entertainment. We hope to make this 13th edition, of one of Ottawa’s premier and most unforgettable events of the year.
 Over the last 12 years, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been donated to local children in need in the Ottawa region. Recipients of the proceeds from the past International Balls have included The Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre, The Active Living Alliance for Canadians with Disabilities, The Ottawa Society for Children with Learning Disabilities, The YM/YWCA Youth Camps, CHEO and the Neo Natal Units at the Ottawa Hospitals. For the last two years a large percentage of the funds raised were donated to Project S.T.E.P, a plan to build and maintain two youth drug rehabilitation centres in the city.
 This year’s spectacular event will be held at the outstanding newly designed Ottawa Convention Centre. Tickets for the event are $225 per person or a table of ten (10) is priced at $2, 250. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and the opening of the silent auction. The dinner is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. followed by a spectacular evening of food, culture, entertainment and dancing.

All proceeds of the annual Variety International Ball are dedicated to local children’s support groups or individuals and all of the funds remain in the National Capital Region.
